“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.” 2 Corinthians 3:17-18
If you could get to know me, I pray that the transforming work of Christ in me, attracts you to Him. I am nothing but a broken vessel, who was saved by grace and I live in a constant state His sanctifying work. There is a freedom in the thought that He was poured out so that I can be filled up! I play a microscopic part in His great story, but I’m known to play it with lavish extravagance because He has been extravagant with His love and grace to me.
I love beautiful, created things, and creating beauty. It is the refection of the Creator of all things. I am His daughter. I am a wife to a man who has loved me for better or worse for over 36 year. I am the mother of 5 (and that is a story in itself); the grandmother of 5 beautiful girls, and I am not even really sure what a blog is…but I am writing for an audience of One. If He chooses to use my jumbled, flawed and raw “thoughts” to reveal Himself, to encourage someone, or to transform my own heart…then may it be for His glorious fame!
Let every word I write reflect “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to”… Isaiah 61:1-2
